Probably not a good idea to set your machete so close to the flame. Risk tempering it, and the spine tensile strength is important for a machete.

Looks like a great in the woods.
I’ve learned a lot from your videos, thanks for all the information.

you should get a usmc Kabar knife
1095 carbon steel
its a extremely good knife
December 4th, 2008 at 5:52 am
Hey Chris, nothing like hot chocolate on a cold day. You get a lot of snow in your area? I was thinking about getting a Mora knife 2 for $20 at the sportsmansguide. Do you think there a good knife and worth it in terms for survival?
December 4th, 2008 at 8:01 am
go for the 2-$20!! keep 1 for yourself & give 1 for x-mas! mine is a stainless version, not full tang. its alright to sharpen…the carbon steel will hold edges better & longer with less sharpening too
December 5th, 2008 at 12:36 am
Thanks for the Video Chris!
That gray fleece jacket makes for good Camo in the winter woods.
I couldn’t tell what You were using for the Nesting pot/cup. is it a can? or something else? I like pots that nest under water bottles or canteens.
December 5th, 2008 at 1:06 am
thx…the fleece is like a dark olive green but fadded a lil. i love that fleece…i’m actually wearing it now. i’ve been outside for 10 minutes & it 33 but feels like 20. i grabbed it from a buddy who was gonna throw in a garage sale. yes its a soup can around the bottle
December 7th, 2008 at 5:39 am
I was going to buy 2 until I found out Sportsmansguide wont ship knifes to my state. But I ordered one on ebay. BTW this is the first video with a zippo that I havent seen a cool trick

December 12th, 2008 at 7:04 am
made out of AXE Deoderant spray bottles. just like a pop can stove. cut just a lil less than quater sized hole
December 12th, 2008 at 9:20 am

December 12th, 2008 at 11:39 am

-Job Security, and the lack of it in the UFC. ANd how he would rather stay fighting in Pride.
